Wild West boomtown meets Sin City at Buffalo Bill's, located 48 miles southwest of the Vegas Strip on the California/Nevada state line. With an expansive casino (including the recently added "party pit") and a race and sports book, you'll have no problem placing your bets at Buffalo Bill's.

The guest rooms have also been recently updated with modern furnishings in light and natural woods. At the end of a long day, you can sink into a new bed, complete with luxury linens, or head out and explore the resort.

There are plenty of things to do in Primm. The resort features a great entertainment lineup within the 6,500-seat Star of the Desert Arena. There's a Buffalo Bill's Stage Bar, which features lounge acts in a smaller setting.

A nearby amusement area includes an 85 mph roller coaster with 225-foot drop called the "Desperado" and a plunging "Turbo Drop," great for thrill seekers. The "Canyon Log Flume," is a water ride that streams through Buffalo Bill's casino floor! The Attraction Zone Arcade now boasts all the latest games.  

If you're hungry, Buffalo Bill's has Tony Roma's, famous for their barbecue ribs. For a bite around the clock, head to Denny's for bacon and eggs. The food court features Starbuck's coffee, a pizzeria and McDonald's. And the Ramon Ayala Cocina & Cantina, named for the musician who performs regularly in the resort's arena, is opening in the dining collection soon. 

A nearby outlet mall makes shopping fun for the whole family with stores including NM outlet, Gap outlet and Kate Spade outlet.

After all that shopping, you're going to need to relax. The spa at Primm has been recently updated and features signature Aveda rejuvenating treatments like a chakra balancing massage and rosemary mint awakening body wrap.
