Hard Rock Hotel Description

The fabulous Hard Rock Hotel is one of the hippest locations in Las Vegas, located just a couple blocks from the world-famous Strip. This music-inspired resort offers a combination of stylish lodging, cool entertainment, swank dining and incredible nightlife that speaks to the rock 'n' roll heart.

The colorful history of rock and popular music is an actual part of the Hard Rock's architecture. Drum cymbals been fashioned into light fixtures. Doors are adorned with guitar-shaped handles. Even the parking garage is decked-out with leather-and-steel walls. The Hard Rock will continue to make its own rock history as it expands and renovates through 2010.

The hotel's artwork is straight out of the school of rock, too. Leather jackets from Aerosmith, the Ramones, U2 and many other famous groups are displayed in glass cases. Motorcycles once ridden by rockers Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe and Matt Sorum of Velvet Revolver guard the happening casino pit. An incredible assortment of signed guitars, wild costumes and funky memorabilia (Beatles' talcum powder. Madonna's underwear. Jimi Hendrix's peacock-feather vest.) fill the hotel's halls.

Every night, the resort pulses with a hedonistic, bacchanalian vibe. In the evening, the Center Bar is like a runway for the beautiful people. The pumping nightclub Body English is a smooth amalgam of European elegance and bachelor pad glam. Wasted Space is anything but with its stage for live performances and 24-hour lounge.

The Hard Rock's pool area is plush and lush. Hotel guests flock to the pool's sandy beaches, tropical palm trees and its always fun swim-up blackjack table. Filled with sculpted and bronzed bodies, the Hard Rock pool is the place to be seen. And during the sultry summer, the outrageous Rehab pool party takes over on Sundays.

On any given day at the Hard Rock, you're likely to spot rock stars, supermodels and professional ball players gaming at the blackjack and craps tables, standing elbow-to-elbow with tourists.

The Hard Rock offers incredible dining options. There's a cosmopolitan take on sushi at Nobu and the colorful and fun Mexican décor of The Pink Taco. Mr. Lucky's 24/7 is a cool hangout at any hour.

The resort's showroom, The Joint, is immensely popular and was instrumental in bringing live rock music to Vegas in a big way. Headliners such as Sting, the Ramones, Green Day, Duran Duran, Ozzy Osbourne, the Rolling Stones, Oasis and many others have thrilled audiences from the Joint's stage.

Number of rooms: Between the Hard Rock Hotel and the new HRH Towers there are 1,500 rooms.
Casino: Yes, 30,000 square feet. Casino games include Blackjack, Craps, Let It Ride, Pai Gow Poker, Roulette, Slots, Baccarat and Megabucks. The Poker Lounge has a full bar and lounge, private VIP rooms, bottle service, iPod stations and big screen televisions. There also is a poolside casino area with swim-up Blackjack.
Race & sports book: Yes, a 60-seat race and sports book, equipped with 28 televisions and two big screens.
Restaurants: The Hard Rock has the following dining options: Ago, Mr. Lucky's 24/7, Nobu, Rare 120, The Pink Taco and Starbucks.In the Paradise Tower: Espumoso (opening Dec. 2, 2009), Johnny Smalls (opening April 2010) Yi (opening April 2010).
Entertainment: The Joint, live music venue that features the hottest and brightest acts of today, tomorrow and yesterday including Supernatural Santana: A Trip Through the Hits
Nightlife: Two nightclubs, Body English and Wasted Space. Vanity is located in the HRH Towers (opening on New Year's Eve 2009).

Pool: Yes, a 4.7-acre pool area with two pools and four Jacuzzis. During the summer months, the hotel features the pool club, Rehab.

Spa: Yes, The Rock Spa offers multiple types of massages and services. The salon, Brannon Hair, is located outside the spa in the hotel. Reliquary Water Sanctuary and Spa will open in mid-2010 in HRH Towers.

Incidental charges: The Hard Rock Hotel charges a $7 per room, per night resort fee which covers the cost of shuttle to the Strip, valet service and limited business amenities. This fee is not included in your reservation and will be charged at the hotel. Hotel requires a credit card for incidental charges. The resort fee listed above does not include tax. Some resorts also apply room tax to their resort fee.
