Luxor Description

The pyramid-shaped Luxor Hotel and Casino points majestically toward the sky at the south end of the Strip. The shining light at the top of the structure is a beacon of entertainment, dining and delight for travelers from all over the world.

A modern-day wonder of Las Vegas, the 30-story black glass pyramid combines the technological wonders of today with the mystique of far away times. The property has been modernized, with the addition of trendy lounges, restaurants and clubs, such as the two-story LAX nightclub and its companion bar, Flight.

The contemporary rooms at the Luxor Resort and Casino are decorated with an alluring Eastern flair and offer views of the Strip, mountains or the resort's pool. Adjacent to the expansive pool, the earth-inspired Nurture Spa pampers its guests with an array of beauty and health treatments.

A full casino with more than 1,600 slots (ranging in denomination from from a penny to $100), more than 87 table games, a poker room and a race and sports book, entices players.

Luxor also offers a variety of restaurants. More the Buffet at the Luxor features everything from international specialties to homemade pizza. For a wide selection of late-night fare, step into the Pyramid Café and explore its many comfort food options.

Entertainment includes shopping and shows, including the wacky Carrot Top and the adult-oriented topless revue Fantasy. Home to the third season of A&E Network’s "Criss Angel's MINDFREAK," the hotel presents CRISS ANGEL Believe in the Luxor Theater.

The Luxor's location is all about convenience. A walkway connects the hotel to the Mandalay Place shops and the Mandalay Bay hotel and another walkway connects to the Excalibur hotel. For those who prefer to ride, a monorail also runs from Mandalay Bay to the Luxor to Excalibur, making it easy to visit other properties.

Entertainment: Entertainment is featured throughout the Luxor. The Luxor Theater has CRISS ANGEL Believe. The Atrium Showroom features Carrot Top, Menopause the Musical and Fantasy.
Nightlife: CatHouse Loungerie, LAX, Flight and Noir Bar.
Attractions: Bodies...The Exhibition provides an unusual and up-close look at the human body, while Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition recounts the fateful trip of the world-famous ocean liner.
Pool: Yes, a five-acre pool area with four pools and four Jacuzzis.

"Big and easy to get lost in-as are most hotels in Las Vegas. Swimming pool was nice. Elevator was a real trip if you didn't know what to expect. Food court and attractions were easy to get to and had good variety. Could spend several days just at the Luxor and not need to leave for anything."
