Luxor Description

The pyramid-shaped Luxor Hotel and Casino points majestically toward the sky at the south end of the Strip. The shining light at the top of the structure is a beacon of entertainment, dining and delight for travelers from all over the world.

A modern-day wonder of Las Vegas, the 30-story black glass pyramid combines the technological wonders of today with the mystique of far away times. The property will continue to go through modernizations through 2009, with the addition of trendy lounges, restaurants and clubs. Entertainment includes shopping and shows, including the wacky Carrot Top and the adult-oriented topless revue Fantasy. Home to the third season of A&E Network’s "Criss Angel's MINDFREAK," the hotel will present CRISS ANGEL Believe in the Luxor Theater starting in September 2008.

The Luxor's location is all about convenience. A walkway connects the hotel to the Mandalay Place shops and the Mandalay Bay hotel and another walkway connects to the Excalibur hotel. For those who prefer to ride, a monorail also runs from Mandalay Bay to the Luxor to Excalibur, making it easy to visit other properties.
