Orleans Description

Celebrate Mardi Gras year round at The Orleans, located just west of the Las Vegas Strip.

At The Orleans, the traditions of the Crescent City mix with Sin City, from vibrant colors and giant Mardi Gras masks decorating the hotel and casino, to a plethora of leisurely bars throughout the establishment. Don't be surprised if you end up leaving the spacious casino with multicolored strings of beads around your neck.

The Orleans is packed with a wide variety of restaurants to keep its guests satisfied. Elegant dining can be found at Canal Street, which serves seafood and steaks and The Prime Rib Loft, with multiple cuts of the popular beef. For a more casual meal, try the Courtyard Cafe and its many continental and Chinese creations.

While the real Mardi Gras may not be for the young ones, there's fun for the whole family at The Orleans, including a 70-lane bowling center and a huge movie theater and arcade. The Las Vegas Wranglers minor league hockey team also hits the ice at the Orleans Arena.

For even more entertainment, The Orleans Arena also features headliners and other sporting events, while the Orleans Showroom, Brendan's Irish Pub and the Bourbon Street Cabaret all host an array of live music, including another New Orleans favorite: jazz.

"Doesn't match the fanciest (Bellagio, etc.) but fun, well run, excellent value for the money. We also liked the movie theaters and bowling alley within the complex."

"It's great for last minute bookings. It's a great environment for family (although I never went to the bowling area or arena, but seen lots of kids). Not the place to go if you want to have a lively young adult FUN."
