Tropicana pool Details

• Number and size of pools: The five acres of pool area include three tropically-landscaped pools, lagoons and waterfalls. The main pool is 12,000 square feet with a maximum depth of five feet. The adults-only Lagoon pool is 800 square feet. The Garden pool is also 800 square feet, with a maximum depth of six feet.
• Indoors or outdoors: Outdoors, but a partition closes off 1,500 square feet of space to make an indoor pool for the winter months.
• Heated: The main pool, Lagoon pool and winter indoor pool are all heated. The Garden pool is not.
• Hours: The pools are currently closed for the winter. Hours vary by season. Call for more information.
• Towel service: Provided by the hotel.
• Jacuzzi: Three.
• Food/Drink service: Cocktail service is available. There are also two bars. The Coconut Grove Bar includes a snack bar and opens with the main pool for the season. The Tropics Pool Bar with swim-up blackjack is only open in the summer. The Pool Snack Bar is also open seasonally.
• Chairs and chaises: Provided, but cannot be reserved.
• Cabanas: Three at the main pool and two at the Lagoon pool. Each cabana offers cable TV, a refrigerator, telephone, portable mister, ceiling fan, private dressing room, chaise lounges, chairs, a table and complimentary fruit basket. Room service can also be accessed in the cabanas. Reservations are necessary. For pricing, please contact hotel.
• Amenities: The Tropicana offers swim-up blackjack for its guests from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Two aquatic gaming tables can seat seven players each. The Tiki Retail Hut offers sun care items, cover-ups, sandals, beach bags, goggles and other pool accessories. It is open seasonally. High-speed wireless Internet access (Wi-Fi) is available in the swimming pool area.
