Located conveniently close to the Las Vegas Strip -- about five minutes by car from Mandalay Bay and McCarran International Airport -- South Point (formerly the South Coast) offers Vegas' first world-class Equestrian Center, spacious contemporary rooms, a variety of restaurants and more.

Sitting on 60 acres, the South Point is designed with Mediterranean and Pacific Coast-style architecture. Soft golds, reds and browns decorate the bright hotel, which takes its inspiration from the Southern California cities of Santa Barbara and San Diego.

Inside, the resort boasts a number of enticing amenities, beginning with oversized guest rooms that have 42-inch plasma screen televisions. South Point hotel guests have access to a beautifully-landscaped pool and a sand volleyball court. There is also a fitness center, the Spa Costa Del Sur, a beauty and barber shop, a 64-lane bowling center and a 12-screen movie theater.

The spacious 80,000-square-foot casino features more than 2,400 slot and video poker machines, bingo and more than 60 tables games including craps, baccarat, roulette and poker. A 300-seat race and sports book completes the hotel's extensive gaming area.

Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, the South Point boasts a number of restaurants to satisfy every taste including the upscale Silverado Steakhouse, Big Sur Oyster Bar, Don Vito's and the Garden Buffet. Indulge in the tastes of New York at The Del Mar Deli. The 24-hour Coronado Café is the perfect spot to satisfy your late-night hunger pangs and Kate's Korner, an ice cream parlor, is sure to be a hit with the entire family.

The crowning jewel of the South Point hotel complex is the resort's Equestrian Complex, which features 4,400-seat arena, 1,200 climate-controlled horse stalls and an attached 80,000-square-foot exhibit hall.
