Treasure Island - TI Description
Treasure Island on the Las Vegas Strip, now known simply as TI, is a playground for adults with nightlife, a wide variety of restaurants, a large casino, luxurious spa and the sultry Sirens of TI show. TI is watched over by a bevy of beautiful sirens. In the fast-paced outdoor show, which features dancing and pyrotechnics, visitors watch as the sirens protect their booty from a team of pirates with surprising ferocity. There's no shortage of nightlife options at TI. Gilley's Saloon, Dance Hall & BBQ features a saloon with bull riding and a dance floor for two-step fans. There's also an outdoor patio where you can see the Sirens of TI show. The restaurant portion serves up Texas-style favorites including ribs, burgers and pork sliders. Famous party spot Señor Frogs will be adding to the nightlife scene when it opens a location at TI in March 2012. Gamblers will appreciate the 95,000-square-foot casino that includes a poker room, race and sports book, several thousand slot and video poker machines and table games. Dining options are plentiful at TI. Isla Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar serves Mexican food and features a guacamole cart where servers make different styles of guacamole as you watch. The tropical-themed Kahunaville dishes up island-inspired food and entertains patrons with shows by talented flair bartenders. For those looking to relax, the pool at TI features private cabanas and a party tub that fits 50 people. Oleksandra "O" Spa and Salon offers luxurious treatments, a fitness center, retail area and a salon. But perhaps the crowning glory of TI is Mystère, a Cirque du Soleil production now in its second decade at the resort. Colorful sets, imaginative costumes and makeup and the unbelievable skill of the performers will have you yearning to quit your day job and run away with the circus.
