OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR RESERVATIONS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR
RECEIVE A PRIZE.  A PURCHASE DOES NOT
INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

These Official Rules apply for the "@VEGAS WEEKLY #LVTWIVIA" Sweepstakes promotion ("Sweepstakes") conducted by Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, 3150 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, NV 89109 ("Sponsor"). The Sweepstakes will start at 11:30 a.m. Pacific Time on Wednesdays and will end at11:30 a.m. Pacific Time on the next Tuesday (the
"Promotional Period").  By entering this Sweepstakes, you agree to the Terms in these Official Rules.

1. SWEEPSTAKES ENTRANTS AND PRIZE RECIPIENTS MUST BE LEGAL RESIDENTS OF ONE OF THE FIFTY (50)
UNITED STATES, THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (EXCEPT NV) OR CANADA (EXCEPT QUEBEC) WHO HAVE A TWITTER ACCOUNT, ARE A MEMBER OF THE VISIT LAS VEGAS COMMUNITY ON TWITTER AND ARE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT TIME OF ENTRY TO BE ELIGIBLE.  VOID IN NV, QUEBEC AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. SWEEPSTAKES IS SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE, PROVENTIAL AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS. Employees of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority ("LVCVA") (the "Sponsor"), and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising and promotion, fulfillment and/or judging agencies, and related entities, and their immediate families are not eligible ("Related Entities"). Entrants who have won any prize in any Sweepstakes sponsored by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority with one (1) year of the start of this Sweepstakes are not eligible to win a prize. 

2. HOW TO ENTER:  If you are not already signed-up on Twitter, go to www.twitter.com and follow the instructions to create an account. To enter, follow the Visit Las Vegas Community on Twitter during the Weekly Entry Period, look for the Las Vegas Community Tweet containing the Trivia Question posted.  Submit the correct answer to the trivia question by tweeting the hashtag #lvtwivia, followed by @Vegas and then the correct answer ("Entry"). The first person to reply with the correct answer on Twitter during the Weekly Entry Period as stated in Paragraph #3 will win the Weekly Prize (subject to verification of eligibility). Limit one (1) entry per person/tweet account.  Twitter Handles or Tweets containing profanities and/or depicting Las Vegas unfavorably will be disqualified.  By sending a Twitter Entry, an entrant consents to receive from the Sponsor a reply Twitter message and, if applicable, a Twitter message notifying such entrant that he/she is a potential winner. (Entrants should contact their appropriate internet, wireless and/or phone service providers for complete details with respect to message and data rates both for sent and received messages.) Your entry constitutes your consent to participate in this Sweepstakes and your consent for the Sponsor to obtain your name, email address and other information for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes and for other uses by Sponsor as permitted by applicable law. Entries are the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, misaddressed, or otherwise misdirected Tweets/Entries that are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or other error. Multiple or duplicate entries will be disqualified.

PRIZES:  Each Weekly Prize Winner (where applicable) is solely responsible for paying all federal, state, provincial
and local taxes on any prize. Weekly Prize Winners may not choose the cash value in lieu of the prize. No substitution, assignment, or transfer of any prize permitted. In the event a Weekly Prize stated herein is unavailable for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. 

4. CLAIMING PRIZE/RELEASES: Potential Weekly Prize
Winners will be notified by Tweet or DIrect Message, on or about two day after the Weekly Entry
Period and will be required to respond within forty-eight (48) hours of
notification.  Potential Weekly Prize Winners will also be required to complete and return a Prize Verification Form
and (where legally permissible) a Publicity Release Form within five (5) days
of receipt. Non-compliance with any of these Official Rules may result in
disqualification and that Weekly Prize will be awarded to the next person who
correctly answered the trivia question. If a potential Weekly Prize Winner is
ineligible, or declines a Weekly Prize, that Weekly Prize will be forfeited and
the next person who correctly answered the trivia question. If a Prize
Verification Form is returned as undeliverable, or if a Weekly Prize is
forfeited for any reason whatsoever, that Weekly Prize Winner will be
disqualified, and that Weekly Prize will be awarded to the next
person who correctly answered the trivia question. If a Weekly Prize Winner is a Canadian resident,
he/she will also be required to correctly answer a mathematical question
without assistance (10 x 25 ÷ 5 + 30 - 5 =__). The potential Weekly Prize
Winner is not a Weekly Prize Winner until his/her submission of notification
materials is verified. 

5. INTERNET: If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of
running as planned due to an infection by a computer virus, bugs, tampering,
unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes
beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration,
security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the
Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual
who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend
the Sweepstakes, at which time, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from
among all eligible entries received by the time of the Sweepstakes termination.
The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption,
deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line
failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, entrant's Twitter
account or alteration of entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any
problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or telephone lines,
computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer or phone equipment,
software, failure of any entry to be received by the Sponsor due to technical
problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site,
phone, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to
participant's or any other person's computer or Twitter account relating to or
resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials
in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for undeliverable Twitter
messages or e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail
filtering by a user's Internet service or phone service provider and/or e-mail
client or for insufficient space in user's e-mail account to receive e-mail.
Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if
fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual registrant fails to
comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any
provision in these Official Rules. SPONSOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR
INCOMPATIBILITY OF ENTRANT'S HARDWARE, SOFTWARE OR BROWSER TECHNOLOGY
WITH SPONSOR'S HARDWARE, SOFTWARE OR BROWSER TECHNOLOGY. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT
TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF
THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN
ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER
REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST
EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity or
eligibility of a winner based on a Twitter/e-mail account, the winning entry
will be declared made by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the Twitter/e-mail
address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized Account Holder" is
defined as the natural person 21 years of age or older who is a Twitter account
holder or assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line
service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, education institution,
etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain
associated with the submitted e-mail address. Use of automated devices are not
valid for entry.

6. GENERAL:  By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants and Weekly
Prize Winners: (1) agree to be bound by these Official Rules; (2) agree to
release Sponsor and its respective parent companies, and their employees,
subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising and promotion, fulfillment
and/or judging agencies, and related entities from any and all liability for
any loss, harm, damages, costs or expenses, including without limitation
property damages, personal injury and/or death arising out of participating in
this Sweepstakes, or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize and
claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and
merchandise delivery; and (3) consent to the use of his/her name, voice,
picture, and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium
throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation unless
prohibited by law.  Sponsor may discontinue this Sweepstakes at any time.
Sponsor may terminate any Sweepstakes or decide to modify it in any
manner that it deems fair and equitable to participants if it becomes aware of
any occurrence that would materially affect the Sweepstakes' security and
fairness.  Sponsor may prohibit individuals from participating in Sweepstakes and disqualify entries if they
(1) attempt to enter the Sweepstakes through any means other than as described
in these Rules, (2) attempt to disrupt the Sweepstakes or circumvent the terms
and conditions of these Rules in any way or (3) repeatedly show a disregard for
the Sweepstakes Rules or act (a) in an unsportsmanlike manner, or (b) with an
intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or Sponsor.  Sponsor's decisions with respect to the
Sweepstakes are final.

7. USE OF INFORMATION: The information that you provide in connection with
the Sweepstakes may be used for Sponsor's internal purposes and to send you
information about Sponsor's products and special promotions but will not be
provided to third parties, except as necessary for the administration of the
Sweepstakes or as required by law or legal process. Entry constitutes
permission to post winner's name on Website and to use winner's name, hometown
and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without further
compensation unless prohibited by law. For additional information about

8. WINNERS LIST: To receive the names of the Weekly Prize Winners available
after every Wednesday contest, send a self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope to
be received by every Tuesday following the contest to: "@VEGAS WEEKLY
#LVTWIVIA" Sweepstakes Winner, 900 S. Pavilion Center Drive, Las
Vegas, NV 89144.
