Aston MonteLago Village Review
If you're craving a little taste of Italy, MonteLago Village at Lake Las Vegas certainly comes close.
With its cobblestone streets, historic-looking buildings, fountains, and a gorgeous view of the lake, a stroll through the shops at MonteLago Village really feels like an Italian village.
MonteLago Village offers an interesting mix of stores that all shoppers can appreciate. For those with a collector's bug, Cathay Las Vegas features handcrafted items including items for the home, a wide selection of porcelain dolls representing different cultures, Mardi Gras masks, as well as Southwest-inspired décor.
Make sure to stop by PINK, a high-end boutique for women offering clothing, accessories, jewelry and more. For something a bit more eclectic, Hermitage Art To Wear features bright and fun hand-painted clothes, which shop owner and artist Lara Volkonskaya refers to as "wearable art."
Chocolate lovers can find several decadent bites at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
For a taste of MonteLago Village nightlife, make sure to check out the Irish pub and restaurant, Auld Dubliner.
And of course, what's an Italian village without a gelato shop? Visit Tutti Gelati for authentic Italian ice cream in more flavors than you could imagine.
Visitors have the option of experiencing a gondola boat ride with that special someone. The dock is conveniently located next to the shops.
During the summer months, guests can have a picnic and enjoy free, live jazz music. MonteLago Village also offers outdoor ice skating during the winter season.
Lake Las Vegas may feel like a world away, but it's only 17 miles east of the Strip -- definitely worth the drive.
