A two-time Emmy Award-winner, Louie Anderson is one of the country's most recognized and adored comics. This Family-friendly show brings Anderson to his new self-titled theater at Palace Station.
Anderson's big break came in 1984 when he appeared on "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson." The comic's material relates stories about growing up in the Midwest, being one of 11 children and dealing with an alcoholic father. Audiences across the country easily relate to his take on everyday life situations.
Anderson was named by Comedy Central as "One of 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time." His television and film work includes starring in his own CBS sitcom "The Louie Show" and his own comedy specials for both HBO and Showtime, as well as several films including "Coming to America" opposite Eddie Murphy.
Anderson has hosted the syndicated hit series, "Family Feud" and was executive producer and creator of the two-time Emmy Award-winning animated series on FOX, "Life with Louie." In addition to his TV and film credits, Anderson is also a best-selling author and has written three books, including the best-seller book "Dear Dad-Letters from an Adult Child" in 1989.
