Show Review

Goss grooves in Vegas

Staff Report

International singing sensation Matt Goss has no problem getting audience members on their feet in his self-titled show at Cleopatra's Barge inside Caesars Palace. Since Goss performs in a lounge smoking is allowed during the show. Backed by a live band and his seductive dancers, The Dirty Virgins, Goss performs hits of his own and other popular songs. Produced by Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin, Goss' full-scale production has all the sex appeal, explosive dance numbers and other snazzy show elements found only in Vegas.

Known as "The Voice," Goss rose to fame as the lead singer of the British '80s pop group Bros. The band also consisted of Goss' twin brother Luke and Craig Logan. With 11 Top 40 singles and three Top 20 albums, Bros were one of the biggest acts in British music between 1988 and 1992. They have sold more than 17 million records worldwide.

In 1992, Matt left the band to pursue a solo career as a singer and songwriter. His debut solo album "The Key" was released in 1995. Since then, he has continued to write his own music and a string of hits for other chart-topping artists. In early 2009, Goss composed the hit song "Change Me" for Keri Hilson and Akon, which appears on Hilson's current chart topping album "In A Perfect World."
