The Spa at Aria Review

The spa at ARIA presents a peaceful haven where nature’s healing properties take center stage.

The spa infuses salt, stone, earth, fire and water to create an experience that elevates guests to a meditative state. The 80,000-square-foot, two-level spa features 62 treatment rooms, a full-service salon, an advanced fitness center, boutique, poolside spa cabanas and the city's first co-ed spa balcony. The spa balcony features an outdoor therapy pool and views of ARIA’s spectacular poolscape.

In addition to skin care and massage rooms, the spa offers ashiatsu, couples’ massage, thai massage, hydro-therapy and Vichy rooms, as well as three exclusive spa suites.

The spa's tranquil stone and water garden is adorned with sacred Japanese Aji stones, used in Japan to inspire calmness and tranquility. The natural light flowing through floor-to-ceiling windows and the water garden work together to awaken the senses. Guests can relax to soothing music and signature scents while enjoying views of Las Vegas' mountain ranges and the spa's lush poolscape.

Treatment room walls are made from earthy soil to provide an indigenous, warm feeling. A unique salt meditation room (“shio”) features a wall of illuminated salt bricks, which encourages the healing of skin irritations and upper respiratory problems. Combined with salt lamps, lounge chairs and sensual music, the salt-infused air will leave guests with radiant and dewy skin.

The spa offers a second meditation room, the only one of its kind in the country. This room features Japanese stone sauna (“ganbanyoku”) beds. During a ganbanyoku treatment, guests relax upon a bed of heated black mineral stones that emit negative ions and far-infrared rays. In addition to relaxing muscles, the treatment helps improve blood circulation, increase metabolism and eliminate toxins from the body. A fire lounge serves as a place for relaxation before or following treatments.

The spa also features three private spa suites. The suites include luxurious amenities, a striking design complemented by serene Aji stone walls and natural light; a lounge area with entertainment offerings; vanity; lockers; a personal steam shower and a three-person hydrotherapy tub. Guests will be able to customize their experience from the selection of first-class spa and salon services. They may also order gourmet dining options, flower arrangements, gift baskets and more. Suites serve up to eight people. Spa packages range from a three-hour series of treatments to the 12-hour VIP experience.

All spa guests are welcome to visit the co-ed balcony and enjoy the outdoor therapy pool. Resembling a Japanese open-air hot bath (“rotenburo”), guests may relax while while enjoying views of the hotel’s main pool deck

The salon features 16 stylist stations, six color stations, four make-up stations, 12 manicure stations, 15 pedicure stations, one barber station and one waxing station. Floor-to-ceiling windows near the color and make-up stations will provide abundant natural light and views of CityCenter.

A bevy of beauty and health care products are available for purchase, including  Rock & Republic’s sophisticated and edgy cosmetic line. The spa's boutique offers a collection of beauty and spa offerings, as well as eco-conscious apparel, products, home accessories and jewelry.

The 16,000-square-foot fitness center will showcase a combination of 44 cardio pieces, 20 treadmills, 10 full-body cross trainers, three lower-body cross trainers, five recumbent bikes, three upright bikes, two espresso bikes and one body ergo meter, all which will have Direct Channel Access and iPod connections. The fitness center also will feature top-of-the-line free weights, strength equipment and group exercise studios. Personal training will be available in either private or group sessions, and may be tailored to fit personal needs.

Guests may also experience spa services poolside at ARIA. Located on ARIA’s pool deck adjacent to the spa, cooling massage treatments will keep guests invigorated during Las Vegas’ hot summer months.
