Delano Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay is a non-smoking, all-suite property that provides a stylish and sophisticated alternative to its gaming-oriented counterpart.
The 43-story Delano Las Vegas is connected to Mandalay Bay via a hallway that leads into the Mandalay Bay Theatre lobby and out onto the casino floor.
However, Delano Las Vegas has its own dramatic entryway and check-in area that boast a chic, oasis-style look complete with natural art installations. A massive divided boulder sits just beyond the wood-slatted gate that marks the entrance. White sheers descend from the ceiling to create columns in the lobby. Behind the front desk, a wall of suspended river stones is framed by a patchwork of golden fabric.
If the lobby has served notice that Delano Las Vegas is something different, the standard one-bedroom suites will confirm it. Each one measures approximately 725 square feet. The airy white décor creates a feeling of serenity. Along with the Delano's signature white sheers, there are crisp white linens and white tufted headboards. Guests will also enjoy amenities ranging from 46-inch flat-screen Samsung TVs and media hubs to Keurig coffeemakers and spacious spa-style baths. And there are stunning Strip and city views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Keep in mind this is a non-smoking resort and guests who smoke in rooms will be charged at $300 cleaning fee for lighting up.
Located atop Delano Las Vegas is Rivea, an Italian and Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and lounge by acclaimed chef Alain Ducasse. In addition to unparalleled views of the Strip, Rivea also has a swanky lounge area
On the ground floor, there is a coffee bar called 3940 Coffee + Tea that serves breakfast (try the croissant/donut), quick bites and artisanal teas. A farmhouse-meets-urban kitchen theme is found in Della's Kitchen, where a mix of breakfast and lunch favorites are prepared -- many from sustainable, locally produced ingredients.
The sophisticated lobby bar is named Franklin. In the late-night hours, it takes on a club vibe, complete with DJ-spun music.
A fully equipped gym and the 14,000-square-foot Bathhouse Spa round out the amenities. Among Bathhouse Spa's menu of signature services is a collection of "Global Journeys," which showcase exquisite rituals from India and other countries in Asia.
Delano Beach Club has a chic design (a palette of white with accents of teal and cobalt) as well as offers poolside massages and whimsical items like an oversized chess board.
Plus, Delano Las Vegas hotel guests will always have easy access to Mandalay Bay's beach complex, shops, attractions and world-class entertainment and nightlife venues like the House of Blues, the Foundation Room and the Mandalay Bay Events Center.
Guests will be charged $12 per day for self-parking and $20 per day for valet parking. Hourly self-parking and valet rates vary.
