It’s not always party time in Vegas, there are some places where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the sun. Wyndham Desert Blue is that place, and although it’s a timeshare, you don’t have to own one to stay here.
The big spacious rooms are the perfect size for groups of friends or families. Located on Twain Avenue, only a couple of blocks east of the Las Vegas Strip and a couple of blocks north of the Rio Hotel and Casino, this nonsmoking property offers apartment-style studios or one bedroom suites, pull-out sofas, washer/dryer sets and some kitchen amenities. So basically it's like vacationing with all the comforts of your home.
For the utmost relaxation, this resort has no casino, no nightclub and prohibits any type of smoking. Not that you’d miss it, you’ll be busy in the two heated pools and two hot tubs. Hello perfect vacation tan.
Food options are slim, but don’t worry you won’t have to ration your portions, there’s a bar and grill on-site. If you want to check out the fine cuisine scene the Strip has to offer, it’s just a short drive away or cab ride away, depending on your situation.
There are a couple of things you should be aware of that are unique to timeshares. First off, you won't get daily maid service like you would at a hotel. The timeshare provides limited housekeeping services on the eighth day of stay. Those staying less than eight nights will not receive housekeeping service. However, trash removal and towels are provided upon request.
And second, don't be surprised if you're asked to listen to a pitch about the benefits of "vacation ownership resorts." As we said earlier, Wyndham Desert Blue is a timeshare.
Here’s to a vacation full of fun in the sun. Wyndham Desert Blue is the perfect getaway with all the comforts of home.
